Your Fellow AI free trial gives you access to 5 complimentary meeting recordings, transcriptions, and summaries. When you run out of free recordings and are ready to upgrade to unlimited recordings, transcriptions, and summaries, book some time with one of our meeting experts here.

How the AI Meeting Copilot works

Fellow syncs with your calendar and creates a linked meeting note for every event with the ability to invite your meeting Copilot to record, transcribe, and summarize your meeting. That means your meeting notes, action items, recording, transcription, and summary are all in one place and can be accessed through your calendar event or directly in Fellow at any time.

Inviting your Copilot to join the meeting

You can choose to invite the Copilot once you're in the meeting or schedule it ahead of time so it shows up on time and ready to record.

If you'd like your Copilot to automatically join your meeting or series, toggle on Auto-recording from the bottom of the note in Fellow. If you have the Chrome extension, you can toggle it on directly from your Google Calendar either from the invite or from the bottom of the note.

Once it's toggled on, no more action is required on your end, your Copilot will show up on time to the meeting.

If you don't want to enable auto-recording, you can instead invite your Copilot by pressing the Record button on the bottom banner of your meeting note.

Note: the banner to record will appear 5 minutes before the scheduled start time of your meeting.

If you are using Google Meet, when you join the link, simply click the 'Take AI Notes' button and the Copilot will be brought into the meeting.

Accessing your recordings, summaries, and transcriptions after the meeting

Once your meeting is over, you'll be able to access your recording, transcription, and summary directly from the meeting note (this may take a few minutes). Your summary will appear at the top of your meeting note and you'll be able to access the recording and transcription by clicking "Recording" at the top-right corner of your summary section.

This summary will also be sent out as a recap via email, with only those internal attendees who are on the calendar invite receiving this recap. If you wish to share the recap to other users, you can do this by clicking the 'share' button within the summary.

AI Generated Action Items

Within the summary, the Copilot will also generate suggested action items based on the discussion in the meeting. To add these action items to the Fellow meeting note, simply click the box beside each suggested action item.

Upgrading to unlimited recordings

Once you've used up your 5 free recordings, you can upgrade to unlimited recordings, transcriptions, and summaries. One of our meeting experts will walk you through the process and get you set up. You can book time with them anytime here.

FAQs

Do I need to install anything to record and transcribe my meetings?

You'll need to download the Fellow Desktop app or (free) browser extensions, MS Teams or Zoom apps in order to record your meetings.

How do I know my meeting will be recorded?

If you toggle on "record" or enable auto-recording, you can rest assured your Copilot will join your meeting on time. The Copilot will appear in the meeting as a regular attendee and a message will appear within the chat function of the video recording tool that is being used, notifying all attendees that the Copilot has joined and is now recording. Within Fellow, at the top of the note, you will see the red button with 'Rec' beside it, highlighting the recording is live.

Who has access to the meeting recordings?

Only meeting attendees have access to the recording, transcription and summary associated to the meeting.

Where are my recordings saved? How do I access them after the meeting?

Your recordings, summaries, and transcriptions are all saved in the associated meeting note. If you're looking to find all your meeting recordings in one place, you just have to go to your home panel > Recordings. Here you'll find a collection of all the recordings created by the Meeting Copilot.

What happens when I've used my 5 free recordings?

While you'll still have access to past recordings, you'll no longer be able to record, transcribe, or summarize your meetings with your Copilot. To access unlimited recordings, book some time with one of our meeting experts and they'll set you up.
