Troubleshooting tips for Meeting Stats

This article discusses methods to troubleshoot the Meeting Stats feature:

Duplicate User(s)

  • If a user’s name in a call platform is different from their name in Fellow, we may see duplication

    • If a user is “Emily Smith” on Google Meet, but “Em” in Fellow, their name will not match and will appear as two attendees in the call

  • To fix this, the user can update their name in Fellow or their call provider so that the two match moving forward, and will then be identified as one single user

Missing User(s)

  • If there are two users named “Emily Smith”, there will only be one “Emily Smith” participant and attendee shown in the stats

  • To fix this, one of these users can modify their name in Fellow and their call provider so that the two users don't exactly match moving forward

Attendee Shown as Absent

  • The stats may show that “Emily” was absent, but “Emily Smith” spoke in the meeting, despite this being the same one person

  • To fix this, the user can update their name in Fellow or their call provider so that the two match moving forward, and will then be identified as one single user instead of two separate users

Time Joined/Left Incorrect

  • If users join the call before the Meeting Copilot or leave after it, Fellow won’t have information about their actual join/leave time, so these values should default to the same values as the Copilot.

    • Joining before = 0:00 join time

    • Leaving after = Time at which the Copilot left
