How to delete your Fellow user account

You can use our self-serve deletion option to permanently delete your individual account from a workspace. If you are the only user on your workspace, follow these instructions to completely delete your user account and workspace.

Note: We strongly recommend that you export any important data before you delete your Fellow user account. There are a few different ways that you can export your data including:

Steps to delete your individual user account

  1. Click on your workspace logo --> User settings

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the button to Delete. (Note: we strongly recommend exporting important data first before starting the deletion process)

  3. Next you will need to confirm the user account deletion by

    1. Providing a reason for deletion (ex. leaving the organization, switching to another tool)

    2. Typing the text "delete"

    3. Clicking the checkbox that you acknowledge your personal data will be deleted.

  4. Once this information has been entered, the Delete button will no longer be faded out and will be clickable. Press the Delete user account button.

When the process is complete, you will see a notification across the bottom of your screen confirming that your use account will be permanently deleted in 72 hours.

Once the account has been fully deleted you will also receive an email to confirm that the account deletion has been complete.

Cancelling your account deletion request

If you change your mind within this 72 hour period and don't want to delete your user account, you can cancel the request by selecting the cancel deletion option. This will cancel your request and allow you to resume using your account.
