How to allow Fellow to auto update your Slack Status

If you're in a meeting or in focus time and want your Slack status to automatically reflect it, make sure that your Fellow Slack bot is updated so that it automatically updates it for you.

When you're in focus time, your Slack status will update with the dart emoji 🎯 and hovering over it will open the tooltip like in the image below. The tooltip will also show the time stamp of when your focus time block is set to end.

If you're in a meeting, your Slack status will automatically update with the calendar emoji πŸ—“οΈ and hovering over it will open a tooltip indicating that you're in a meeting using Fellow. This tooltip will also have a time stamp of when you meeting is set to end.

Turn off Fellow's Slack Status

If you do not want to to update your Slack status automatically during your calendar events, you can turn it off by following the below steps.

  1. Head to the Fellow app in Slack and click on the Settings button in the Home tab

  2. Then click the Disable button in the modal that pops up

  3. Lastly, click the Done button to save your changes
