You might have a collection of templates that you use for different meeting types. Maybe you have a go-to "Marketing Meeting" template, and another for your "Daily Standup", and another for a "Leadership Team Meeting."

Note: If you're interested in creating your own template, you can learn how to do that here.

If these are recurring meetings, it can be a pain retyping the same outline every time. But it doesn't have to be so painful. In Fellow, you can apply a template and use it for all future instances of that meeting.

To do this, click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner of the note and select "Apply a Template".

Select the template you like, and then check off the box at the bottom of the modal -"Use this template for future notes."

Note: The warning of "Existing Content Will Be Overwritten" is to say that anything in that current note will be overwritten. Your past notes are completely safe.

Here is a gif to recap the entire process:

You also have an option to create a template the default for the meeting type (whether that's the default for 1-on-1s, or meetings, private streams, etc.).

Set Default

Navigate to User Settings --> My Templates and hover over the template that you would like to be the default. You will then see a three dot drop down.

Click on this and you will see the following options:

When you click "Set as default" you will see a green tag on the feedback card which will indicate that that is now the default.

If you're interested in trying out some new templates, we have some suggestions!
