Having issues with permissions when trying to include embedded media in a note? This article can help!

Including a relevant Google Doc, Sheet, etc in the note or meeting can be a great way to ensure that everyone has access to important information. And can easily reference that information afterwards, just by looking at the notes.

While using the desktop app, you might run into an issue where your content won't load. In order for this content to load in the desktop app, the media will need to have a publicly accessible link. This article outlines how to do this for different services in order for it to work in Fellow.

Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides

While the images below are for Google Docs, the same steps are for Slides and Sheets.

  1. Click on the Share button in the upper right hand corner

  2. Under General Access, click on the drop down and select Anyone with a link. You can set the permissions as Viewer

  3. Once done it will look like this: Click on Copy link and paste that link into Fellow

  3. Then press Copy link and paste that link into Fellow
