Sync action items that come up in meetings directly with Linear. The sync between Fellow and Linear works in two ways:

Create a new Linear issue

  1. Create an action item in Fellow.

  2. Click on the three dot drop down at the end of line next to the avatar. Select Link to Linear

  3. Specify where you would like the information to go including the team

  4. Press Create issue (the button will turn purple once all the relevant info has been added)

  5. That's it! That action item will show up with an icon demonstrating that it has been synced to Linear. The status (complete/incomplete), the due date, and assignee will stay in sync with Linear.

  6. And you'll be able to see that issue in Linear

Import a Linear issue

  1. Click on the plus button at the bottom of the note to add the item from Linear.

You can also add the item from Linear by using the slash menu in the note by using the slash command (/)

  2. Search for the issue that you would like to import from Linear. Then select that issue from the drop down.

  3. Once you select the issue, you will then see a preview of the issue in Fellow complete with the assignee and due date (optional).

  4. Specify how you would like the Linear and Fellow status to match up.

    1. A Unchecked action item in Fellow corresponds to a ___ status in Linear

    2. A checked action item in Fellow corresponds to a ___ status in Linear.

  5. Press Import issue the button will turn purple once all the relevant info has been added

  6. That's it! The Linear issue will now appear in the note as a Fellow action item. The status (complete/incomplete), the due date, and assignee will stay in sync with Linear.
