Record a Loom video from a meeting note

How you can record a Loom video without leaving your meeting note

There are times when notes are not enough to fully describe a process, decision, or idea. In these cases, you have the option to embed a Loom video to convey some more details. Once you record your video, the recording will get embed directly into your meeting note like this ⬇

Steps

  1. Click on the "+" button in the tool bar at the top of the note then scroll down to Record a video or click on Record a video from the Slash Menu

  2. You'll then see this pop-up. Press Record with Loom

  3. After this you might be prompted by your browser to allow access to your camera and microphone

  4. Choose your specific video settings then press Start recording

  5. Record the video like you normally would with Loom

  6. When you've finished recording your video, you'll see a preview. From here you can open the video in Loom, retake the video, or embed it directly into your note

  7. If you've embedded the video, use the three dot drop down in the upper right hand corner to Open in a new tab, Edit media, Add a reaction or comment, and Delete
