In this article, we'll go through the following for the Fellow Zoom Admin App:
What is Fellow’s Zoom Admin App?
The Zoom Admin app allows meetings hosted by members of your organization’s Zoom account to be recorded seamlessly. Once connected, the Fellow Note Taker is able to join meetings hosted by your Zoom organization without waiting room delays or recording permission prompts. Only a user who is an admin on your organization’s zoom account can connect this integration for the workspace, and only one account level admin app can be connected per workspace.
How to install Fellow’s Admin Zoom App
Visit Workspace Settings —> Integrations. Scroll to the Other section and find the Zoom Admin App card.
Click on the card, then click on Connect in the top right-hand corner.
You’ll then grant the Fellow Admin App authorization to some basic data on your Zoom account. You’ll see a screen in your browser like this one, and click Allow.
Once connected, you’ll see the app connected, confirming the integration is complete.
How to use Fellow’s Zoom Admin App
Once connected, the Note Taker will then automatically be able to join and record your organization’s Zoom calls without having to wait to be admitted or for recording permission prompts. Simply start a recording for any Zoom meeting hosted by your organization, and Fellow will take care of the rest.
Removing the Fellow Zoom Admin App
If you wish to disconnect this app from your Fellow Account, follow the steps below:
Go back to the Zoom Admin App page where this was setup: Workspace Settings —> Integrations. Scroll to the Other section and click on the Zoom Admin App card.
Click on Actions in the top right corner, and then click Disconnect
Click Disconnect in the modal that will pop up.
You will see a toast message indicating you successfully disconnected the app from your account.
Fellow can no longer access your account’s meeting join tokens, and will no longer be able to join all your organization’s calls without first joining the waiting room, and asking for recording permission. Disconnecting this admin integration does not remove any of the Zoom User integrations that users in your account may have set up.
