Use of your data

In short:
You own your own data (or your company, whichever is our customer).
Any data you enter into Fellow, such as notes and feedback, will not be used for any other purpose other than to provide our services.
Any data we receive from other systems (e.g. calendar integration, Slack, MS Teams, etc) will not be used for any other purpose other than to provide our services.
As part of our services, we provide analytics on product usage to each workspace.
We use the analytics data in order to improve our product offering.
We do not provide access to data from one workspace to another.
We do not sell any data to any parties.

You can export all the information we have about you

You can choose to delete your account (and make us forget you)

Deletions are also processed by all of our sub-processors (e.g. hosting provider, analytics providers, etc)

What we collect

In short:
Information that you directly enter into Fellow (e.g. meeting notes, feedback, objectives, 1 on 1s)
Information strictly necessary to provide our services (e.g. logs, authentication information, session cookies, etc)
Information received from third parties about you (e.g. calendar events, data from integrations such as Slack or MS Teams, or any other integration that you connect)
Information from your company (e.g. information pertaining to your workspace, such as reporting relationships, titles, email addresses, etc)
Analytics information, through the use of tags that appear on our website and application.
Advertising Platform pixels, used for retargeting efforts to grow our customer base (no sensitive or identifying information is shared).
Sensitive personal information

In short:
If you enter into Fellow sensitive information, we will only use that information for the purpose of our core service offering (i.e. feedback, meeting notes, objectives, etc...)
Examples of what you might consider sensitive information: race, religion, politics, health data, credit cards, etc...
If you do not want us to store your sensitive information, do not to enter it into Fellow.
Disclosure of personal information

In short:
Your data will not be shared with any individuals except through the permissionning system that makes Fellow magic
(e.g. if you send someone feedback, they will see the feedback; or if you take meeting notes with someone in your workspace in the meeting, they can see those notes)
We use certain third party service providers to provide our services (e.g. Amazon AWS). Your personal data may flow through their systems.
Fellow takes great care in choosing its vendors, and we ensure that the vendors we select are employing the highest security and privacy safeguards to keep your data safe.
We do not send any more information to any vendors than minimally necessary in order to provide our services.
Aggregated analytics information related to usage statistics and meeting health may be available to others in your workspace through the workspace analytics feature.
Note that this does not mean anyone can see the content of your usage.
We will not disclose any of your data, unless legally forced to.
E.g. to comply with a legal subpoena as part of a national security investigation.
