Linking Glean and Fellow makes meeting insights easy to find and share. Agendas, notes, and AI recaps from Fellow are automatically sent Glean, so teams can quickly search and access key takeaways alongside other work content. 🤩

Set-Up (for administrators)
Go to the Data sources section of the Glean Administration and select “Add data source”, and then “Custom”, or navigate directly to the setup page here.
When creating a Custom Data Source, the following fields need to be filled out:
Unique name: Fellow
Data source category: Collaborative Content
Display name: Fellow
URL regex:
https://<your_subdomain>\.fellow\.app/.*
Email is used to reference users in a document access control lists: Checked
2. In the same Glean Admin Console, navigate to “Platform” and then “API tokens” (or go directly here) and click “Add token”.
When creating an API token, the following fields need to be filled out:
Description: Fellow
Scopes: Fellow (this must match the “Unique name” set in the Custom Data Source — note that this is case-sensitive)
Expires: This will be set to the current day by default. We recommend setting this to a value at least 1 years in the future to minimize potential disruptions in syncing.
After saving the form, the generated API token will be displayed in a modal. Save this key before closing the modal, since it will not be accessible after being displayed. If this step was missed, it’s safe to delete the new token and create a new one.
Values that need to be sent to Fellow
After the Custom Data Source and API Tokens have been created, the setup in Glean is complete! The following information needs to be sent to the Fellow team to complete the integration and start indexing notes and AI recaps:
Server instance (QE): A URL (likely of the form https://<company>.glean.com) which is available in the “About Glean” page.
Datasource name: The name provided to Glean when setting up the Custom Data Source.
Indexing API token: The API token created for Fellow.
How to use Fellow + Glean
Once the integration has been set up in both Fellow and Glean, data will start syncing as it becomes available. Whenever a note is updated, a user gains (or loses) access to content, or a meeting recap becomes available, the data will be sent to Glean to be indexed. Data is indexed in Glean as a “Document” per meeting: the written agenda/notes and all recaps for the event will be combined into one document so that all the relevant content can be easily queried. Permissions to content in Glean are the same as they are in Fellow: if someone in Fellow has access to content via a calendar event, direct sharing, or channel access, they will be able to see that content in Glean too.
Indexed documents may take time to appear and update, depending on the speed with which Glean is able to process them.
