Align your Fellow Note Taker with your branding!

We know the important of brand recognition so we've built a feature to keep your branding consistent across your calls with Fellow. In this article we'll cover how the Note Taker customization allows you to change your Note Taker's name, logo, and initial chat message to reflect what's best for you!

How to Customize the Note Taker

The Note Taker can be customized workspace administrators and these changes will apply to all users with your workspace.

You'll first need to your Workspace Settings > Note Taker & AI:

Once you're in there, you'll see the following options for customization:

  1. Avatar: If you turn off the image, it'll appear with no video while recording, and with video to indicate status during alternate recording statuses.

  2. Display Name:

    1. First name: Choose to select if you'd like the user who invited the Note Taker's name to appear when their Note Taker joins the call

    2. Note Taker name: Customize your workspace's Note Taker name (keep in mind the character limit of 80)

  3. Message: You can enable, disable, or customize the message that appears when the Note Taker has successfully joined. We recommend using the message to notify users about the recording.

    1. Tip: {User} and {Copilot name} can be used in the message, and will appear in the call as their respective values

How does this appear in calls?

Across all meeting providers, changes to image, name, and message will be reflected. The avatar will be part of the Note Taker image, which will also include a non-branded background and recording status indicators:
