Having your Copilot record your calls is an absolute game-changer, however we understand that there may be portions of your conversations that may need to remain off the record. Our redaction feature provides you with greater control to redact sensitive parts of the transcript and recording while preserving the rest of the AI notes, transcript, and recording for future reference.

Important note: once completed, redaction is a permanent action that can not be undone.

Step 1: you'll need to open the meeting recap where you are looking to redact a portion(s) of the conversation.

Step 2a:

You can redact content by either highlighting one or multiple lines then using the Redact icon that appears:

Step 2b:

Alternatively, you can use the start and end redaction markers (highlighted in red below) to mass-select portions of the call and click Add Redaction:

Step 3:

Once you've selected what you'd like to remove, click the red Redact icon at the top of the transcript:

Step 4:

Confirm that you would like to redact by typing "DELETE" into the text box

Step 5:

Confirm your redaction in the final step by clicking Redact content.

❗ This is a permanent action and once this has been completed, there is no way to recover the content. ❗

If you had selected Regenerate AI Recap when redacting, you'll then see the new summary being generated

Step 6:

Your recap will now reflect that there has been redacted content which will no longer be accessible
